Build a quiz people finish. And a result they screenshot.
Most lead magnets get downloaded and forgotten. A quiz gets finished, because it is about them. Work through it one stage at a time, and pick it back up whenever you like.

Before we start
Your report will be personalised for you. We will send a copy to your email so you do not lose it.
The difference
Another checklist nobody downloads, and a list that grows by four people a month.
A quiz people finish, and a result that tells you who is worth ringing.
Who this is for
Who this is for
You have the expertise. What you do not have is a lead magnet anyone finishes. A quiz works because it is about the person taking it, and because the result gives you something a PDF download never will: you know what kind of problem they have before you speak to them.
You have the expertise
What you do not have is a lead magnet anyone finishes
The problem
A checklist tells them nothing they did not already suspect.
People do not want more information. They want to know where they stand. A quiz answers that in two minutes, and it hands you the segment so your follow up is not a guess.
Before and after
What changes when you use this tool.
A free PDF that sits unopened in their downloads folder.
A result page they screenshot and send to their business partner.
One email list where everyone gets the same thing.
Segments, so the follow up matches the problem they actually have.
Starting a quiz, getting stuck on the scoring, abandoning it.
A build you work through one stage at a time, saved as you go.
What you get
Included in every report
A stage-by-stage build, so the quiz gets designed before it gets made
Your business context captured once, then used to write everything after it
Quiz type guidance: personality, scored assessment, diagnostic or readiness check
How segment scoring actually works, in plain language
The difference between fixed segments and an AI diagnostic result, and when each is right
What happens after they hit submit, which is where most quizzes go quiet
Progress saved to your email, with a link back in so you can build it over a few sittings
The thinking is the hard part, not the software.
Every quiz platform will happily let you build a bad quiz. What decides whether it works is who it is for, what the result names, and where it points them next. That is what this builds first.
How it works
Three steps. No account required.
Tell us about your business
Once. Everything after this gets written from it.
Name who the quiz is for
One person, one situation. AI suggestions if you are staring at the box.
Work the stages
Quiz type, questions, segments, scoring, and what happens after submit.
Save and come back
Your progress is held against your email with a link straight back in.
The long version
What separates a lead generation quiz from a form nobody finishes
A quiz works as a lead magnet for one reason. It gives something back before it asks for anything. A guide asks for an email and delivers a PDF the person will not read. A quiz asks a few questions they were already asking themselves and hands back a reading of their own situation.
That only holds if the result is real. Most quizzes online are a personality label stapled to a sales page, and people can tell within two questions. The drop off is not a design problem. It is a credibility problem.
This builder walks the whole thing, from who it is for through to what happens after they submit, and it is opinionated about the parts people usually skip.
The components of a quiz that converts
- A hook, not a title
- The line that makes someone click. Dead simple, situational, diagnostic or score based. The style matters less than whether it names something the reader already suspects about themselves.
- A defined target avatar
- Built properly, with the factors that actually drive their decisions. A quiz written for everyone reads as written by nobody.
- Questions that feel like recognition
- Each one should land as though it was written after watching their week. Questions that feel like data collection get abandoned.
- The name and email gate, placed deliberately
- Too early and it reads as a toll. Too late and the result gives away the value with nothing captured. Placement is a judgement call, not a default.
- Consent and disclaimers that hold up
- Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR and the rest are not optional once you collect an email. This is cheap to get right upfront and expensive to retrofit.
- Result segments worth reading
- Whether scored or AI diagnosed, the outcome has to tell someone something they could not have written themselves.
- A next step that follows the result
- The offer after the quiz should answer the problem the quiz just named. Anything else is a bait and switch and the unsubscribe rate will say so.
A hook, four ways
Same underlying quiz for a bookkeeping practice. Four hook styles, four very different click rates.
Dead simple
Are your books actually ready for tax time?
Situational
You have three shoeboxes and a spreadsheet. Which one is costing you the most?
Diagnostic
What is really behind your late invoices?
Score based
Score your financial admin out of 100 in four minutes.
Questions people ask before they start
Do I need a quiz platform first?
No. Build the quiz here, then decide where it lives. The builder covers the build versus buy decision and what each platform is actually good at.
How long should a quiz be?
Long enough that the result feels earned, short enough that people finish. In practice that is usually six to ten questions.
Can I come back to it later?
Yes. Progress saves and you can return by email link. It is built to be worked through over several sittings.
What if I have no email list yet?
Then this is the right place to start. A quiz builds a list faster than a guide because the reason to hand over an email is obvious.
Where this sits in the sequence
- The Lead Gen Blitz
Use this for the outreach side once the quiz is capturing.
- The Client Journey Mapper
Run this to design what happens after someone gets their result.
- The Business Model X-Ray
Worth running first if you are not yet sure what the quiz should sell into.
